Purpose of this change

This proposal is for an Applicability and Policy Alignment Check.

The objective of this change is to remove data pertaining to MCT & GAM DVORs/DMEs from Table AD2.19 at East Midlands Airport that is no longer appropriate and an oversight from when the STARs were RNAV'd and to add long

standing omitted data pertaining to POL and HON DVORs/DMEs on which East Midlands Airport do have a dependency.

Stage 1 : Applicability and Policy Alignment

This step has been started

On receipt of a DAP 1916 Statement of Need, an Applicability and Policy Alignment Check (APAC) is undertaken by the CAA to ascertain whether the change falls in scope of the Airspace Change Process (CAP1616). The APAC must be conducted before the request can be promulgated in the UK Aeronautical Information Publication (UK AIP). If the APAC concludes that change does fall in scope of the Airspace Change Process, the sponsor will be advised the next steps accordingly. If the APAC concludes that the change does not fall in scope of the Airspace Change Process, the sponsor will be permitted to submit the change directly to the UK AIP Change Request Portal.
