Purpose of this change

This proposal is for a Permanent change to the notified airspace design, and the change level is 1.

Although called an airspace change, this is simply designing a defined approach procedure for the jet aircraft and commercial helicopters (from small helicopters and business jets to larger airliners) to follow to land at the airport. Currently, these aircraft's pilots define their own approach, which cannot be regularised and means we can provide no altitude safeguards and defined arrival routes to both other airspace users and local communities. This ACP will design and implement internationally recognised approved approach routes and landing procedures for Kemble's runway 26 and runway 08.
